Dr. Saurabh Bhardwaj has done his MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, and after completing MD (Internal Medicine) from Jaipur, he was trained in cardiology at the National Heart Institute, New Delhi. He then served as Senior Resident in Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, which is a central government multi-specialty hospital with a capacity of over 1,500 beds, where he tended to high volumes of patients and also honed his interventional skills in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, dealing with complex cases. He has also attended Interventional Cardiology training at St. Pierre Hospital, Brussels, Belgium, which gained him exposure to advanced techniques in coronary and structural heart interventions, adding dimension to his profile with international experience. Before joining Phoenix Hospital, he was associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, a 710-bed, first JCI-accredited hospital of India & South Asia. He has been involved in academics throughout, published articles in leading cardiology journals, and actively engages in conferences and seminars.
