Dr. Anuradha R. Iyer is from India. She completed her MBBS in the Russian Federation, after which she returned to India to clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Screening Examination. After passing competitive entrance exams for postgraduate studies, she secured a place and completed a three-year postgraduate program in ophthalmology, earning a Diplomate of National Board of Examinations (DNB). She then joined the prestigious Aravind Eye Care System as a Medical Officer and worked there for four years, gaining varied experience in dealing with all kinds of clinical and surgical scenarios.

She received special training in the pediatric ophthalmology department and spent two years exclusively in it, treating common eye disorders in children. Additionally, she passed the Fellowship of the International Council of Ophthalmology examinations in Basic Sciences and Optics & Refraction
