Digital Radiography

We are equipped with completely digital X-ray units capable of displaying images immediately after the procedure. The integrated PACS system allows images to be viewed by referring physicians in their respective consultation rooms reducing patient time. This section is equipped with the following :

Digital mammography

A mammogram is an important step in taking care of yourself and your breasts. Mammogram uses low power x-rays imaging to find out any abnormalities in breasts. Many centers still use analog mammograms, meaning the images are printed on film. However, digital mammography is now available with us, allowing our radiologist to capture and manipulate the images so abnormalities can be seen more easily.

Digital Fluoroscopy

Digital Fluoroscopy is a form of X-ray that allows us to view deep structures of the body in real-time. It provides very detailed images of function and the structure of areas like the intestines, bladder, cardiac muscle, and stomach.

orthopantomography (OPG)

An OPG is a panoramic or wide view x-ray of the lower face, which displays all the teeth of the upper and lower jaw on a single film. It demonstrates the number, position and growth of all the teeth including those that have not yet surfaced or erupted. A digital OPG eliminates the need for repeated scans, which reduces costs and also reduces patient exposure to radiation. Other significant advantages include instantly viewable images, the ability to enhance images and sending images through electronic media.

Portable radiography

Portable radiographic units are used for radiographic imaging of patients who cannot be moved to the radiology department and who are in areas such as intensive and critical care units or operating and emergency rooms.
